We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Quality Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• To provide leadership and support in the area of quality and product development in the BCC sector within operations.

Main Responsibilities

Quality

• Manage the EWMA system within the BCC operations environment. Provide daily reporting on EWMA data.
• Manage diaper laboratory environment.
• Conduct regular testing of K-CSSA West Africa and competitor samples, while at all times ensure that the test methods are aligned with KCC & MEA.
• Ensure compliance to ISO 9001 requirements

P&TD

• Lead product qualification process within KCSSA West Africa BCC.
• Co-ordinate marketing and operations activities with regards to new product and packaging development.
• Set and lead trial schedules, trial requests, trial plans, testing, and trial reports.
• Drawing-up and maintenance of all materials and finished product specifications
• Ensure all product safety clearances for all materials are updated and obtained at all times.

Cost

• Lead cost saving initiative within the BCC operations environment.

Enviroment

• Diaper environmental champion - ensure compliance with ISO 14001
• Co-ordinate diaper environmental programmes.
• Conduct environmental audits as required.

Leadership

• Establish training requirements for Quality support technicians.
• Lead all direct reports in terms of achieving objective.

Job Requirements

• B.Sc. degree in Quality Assurance Management or a Statistics qualification with a minimum of five years experience within a FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Computer literacy, SAP/R3 knowledge and experience will be an advantage.
